Seili is an absolute must-visit for the curious traveler. On the island, you are in the heart of the most beautiful archipelago, while the historic buildings remind you of the island’s dramatic past. The island’s main building houses Restaurant Seili and a café, where you can enjoy delicious meals. Guided tours take you to explore the island’s unique features as well as the research conducted by the University of Turku on the island.
For example, a group trip to Seili begins in Turku, where you board transport to the island, and during the journey, coffee and light sweet or savory snacks are served. Upon arrival, enjoy a comprehensive lunch at Restaurant Seili, with special dietary needs accommodated. After lunch, the trip continues with a guided tour where the guide takes the group to explore the island’s nature and research activities. During the tour, you will also be immersed in stories dating back hundreds of years. The trip also includes free time on the island, allowing you to enjoy café services, visit exhibitions, or have a picnic on the island’s beautiful cliffs. The visit lasts 2–5 hours depending on the program, and the day ends with a return trip to Turku or Nagu.

Meeting on Seili
Seili offers an inspiring and historically unique environment for meetings with space for 2 to 80 people. Our meeting facilities provide excellent conditions for corporate and client events, and the peaceful surroundings help focus and foster creativity. A meeting complemented by good food and a variety of activities offers more than just a gathering – it is an experience.
Seili has accommodation for about 70 guests, and if needed, nearby Nagu offers additional lodging options. Arrive by your own boat or via a connection ferry – boat transfers can be arranged for groups of any size and are flexibly available from Turku, Naantali, or Nagu.

Private tours are especially suitable for larger groups and parties, as well as for groups wishing for guidance in other languages. The tour route is tailored on a case-by-case basis according to the group’s wishes and interests. Private tours can also be arranged in spring and autumn.

Seili can accommodate around 80 people overnight, and we offer a separate pricing list for school camps.
Weddings on Seili
Seili is a charming and romantic destination that offers the perfect backdrop for one of life’s most important days. We are happy to assist with wedding arrangements of all sizes – whether it’s an intimate gathering or a grand celebration. Everything is organized according to your wishes.
The main building on Seili can host events for up to 100 guests, and the large inner courtyard is ideal for welcoming guests, mingling, and enjoying welcome drinks. For smaller groups, the nearby Makasiini building offers a cozy venue for around 30 people. There is accommodation for approximately 80 guests on the island, and if needed, additional lodging is available nearby in Nauvo. Boat transportation can be arranged for groups of all sizes and customized to your needs, with departures from Turku, Naantali, and Nauvo.
